Welcome to Wagtales. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Wagtales. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

2. Beta Service

Wagtales is currently in Beta. You acknowledge that the service is still being tested and may contain bugs, errors, or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account via our supported OAuth providers (Google, Microsoft), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Content and AI

Wagtales uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate interactive narratives.

  • Hallucinations: AI may generate inaccurate, misleading, or offensive content. We are not responsible for AI-generated outputs.
  • User Ownership: Subject to these terms, you retain rights to the specific choices and inputs you provide.
  • AI Ownership: Ownership of AI-generated content is subject to the terms of our underlying providers (OpenRouter, Google, etc.).

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the AI models or platform
  • Generate content that promotes hate speech, violence, or illegal acts
  • Abuse the credit system or attempt to bypass usage limits

6. Credits and Payments

Usage of the platform may require credits. During the Beta period, we may provide daily free credits which are non-transferable and have no cash value. We reserve the right to change the credit system at any time.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to Wagtales at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

8. Limitation of Liability

Wagtales is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.
